Roanoke Knit-In Information

Directions: From Cave Spring Corner, which is the intersection of Electric Road (Route 419) and Brambledon Ave. (Route 221,) go south on Brambledon approximately 1/2 mile to the stoplight at Colonial Ave. Turn left on Colonial Ave., then take an immediate right onto Merriman Rd. Turn right into the church parking lot. Enter the church through double glass doors; the classrooms we meet in are down the hall to your right, on the right side of the hall.

Do NOT park in the church's main parking lot off Brambleton Ave. This will put you on the opposite side of the church from the Community Room.

What:

A friendly, informal gathering of knitters to knit and chat about knitting, books, patterns, techniques. Refreshments are pot luck. Please bring an appetizer or snack item to share. Also, bring a beverage for yourself.

Please bring a donation (money or non-perishable food) for the church pantry.

When:

Usually the third Sunday of each month.

Time:

2 pm to 5 pm

June 22 - RESCHEDULED due to conflict with Father's Day.

December 21 - Annual Christmas party. Meeting is at 1 pm, so we can have lunch. Please bring a dish to share and a wrapped, knitting-related gift valued at $15 to $20.
